Notifying solicitors when their donor makes a gift?

Hi all - has anyone found an effective way to make sure that solicitors are aware/notified when a donor in their portfolio makes a gift? There does not seem to be a feature in RE NXT that would notify them directly based on assigned solicitor in donor records. Right now we have gift lists set up that solicitors can check as needed, but we need a more active notification process.

    @Jana Viets We have a gift list that gets sent out to all of our fundraisers. We set this up through Power Automate, and it shows all the gifts we processed the day before. This is good because the fundraisers can see all gifts, and can ask questions or remind us of any special instructions that we may need.

    an active notification process will require setup. As Dariel said, Power Automate is a very nice setup and works well with Blackbaud's SKY API. It does require some learning and plenty of template to start off with. Community also has a forum for SKY Developer which will help as you encounter roadblocks.

    There are also consultant that will help you do it with a price.

    This is by far the best option

    @Jana Viets Hi Jana, I'm one of the folks that doesn't have Power Automate, so I use Workflows instead. I have a Constituent List built for new gifts coming in, and went through Tools / Workflow Designer to set that when someone is added to their list, an action is added to that constituent assigned to their fundraiser on record. Your fundraisers still need to check their actions, but hopefully they are doing that anyway. :) It's not as good as a direct notification of course, but it is an ok workaround.
