Syncing solicitor information from RE to RP

How do I sync primary solicitor information from RE so that it shows up as the prospect manager in ResearchPoint? It looks like everything's set up correctly in “Configure the Raiser's Edge Integration fields,” but the prospect manager information isn't showing up in ResearchPoint. I'm completely new to ResearchPoint--does anyone know what I'm missing?

@Caroline Cook When you click on “Primary solicitor information” under the Sync from the Raiser's Edge tab, have you selected one of the solicitor types from the dropdown? That is the only thing I can think of that may be the reason no data is actually syncing.

Thank you! When I clicked in to double check, I saw this message…so I guess something else is wrong. I don't get the message when I click on any of the other data.

@Caroline Cook I think that we need to have you reach out to Support. I don't see a Knowledgebase article for that specific error, but I am sure they will be able to investigate it for you. I am sorry I can't be more help!

@Caroline Cook - Hi there. I would test your RE credentials in ResearchPoint to make sure they are working. You do this in RP by going to The Raiser's Edge integration in the upper left-hand area of the Home page, then Edit credentials, then Test credentials. If your RE credentials work and are successful, then I'm not sure why you see this. At that point I recommend that you contact the Blackbaud Analytics support team. Now if after testing your credentials you get a message saying that your login fails, you will need to contact your RE database administrator to get the appropriate RE credentials. Those come from the RE database view via the Admin tab, then Security. They can find your user login and reset your password. Be sure that those credentials are what you use for the integration in RP. I hope this is helpful!

  • @Carol Belair @Shelley Hindmon Thank you both! The RE credentials work, so we've reached out to support.
