Simple Grant Progress Report

Do you use a Progress Report in your grantmaking? If so, would you be willing to share a sample report with me? I am looking for a brief report on how a grant is being used or will be used with expectations. Thanks! Beth

  • @Angela Hunter Do you mind sending that to me as well? We are trying to utilize all of the Blackboud features and are in exploration mode at the moment. Any resources would be greatly appreciated.

  • @Angela Hunter I am always looking for ideas. I really need this report for grantees that we have a long standing relationship with.

  • @Beth Broomall I have our Interim Report Template posted online as we are just in the process of moving to Grantmaking. We fund community-based projects or initiatives that can occur within 12 months. Our process is to distribute the grant in 2 payments: the first payment equals 70% of the total approved grant, and upon receipt of the interim report and finance update, we will process the 2nd payment, if the recipient still needs it. Here's a link to the report template. I will build these questions in Grantmaking as a requirement for future rounds of funding, but happy to share with you in the meantime. Hope this helps! :)

    @Beth Broomall- Here is a copy of our progress report. We tried to keep it really simple. This word document is built into BBGM as a requirement. We use this document to send to grantee partners before the report is due. Some fields (i.e. activities) pulls from the application to populate the document before sending. It helps them to remember what was on their application.

  • @Audrey Kidwell this is exactly what I was looking for. We have a final report that is extensive, but I just need to know where they are in their use of the grant.
