Donor Advised Funds - Grant History and Fund Balance Availability

Hello everyone!

Let me get right to it - we are using the application portal for our Donor Advised Fund holders to make grants from through our organization. We are looking to expand the information our Donors are privy to in order to continue good stewardship. In this, I have two general questions:

1) Has anyone here attempted to make grant history / activity from BEFORE your organization ported to BBGM available for view? Connecting old records in the system did not make it viewable, but we would like there to be a way for our donors to easily see their own history and activity, from the fund's origin to the present. Any ideas on how this could be done?

2) We would like to develop a way for our Donors to view their most current fund balance. Have any of you developed code or made a capability that shows this information, perhaps connected to Financial Edge?
