Ticket "Status" and related fields

In developing some queries, I'm wondering what the function and meaning is of the two similar fields associated with Tickets:

  • Active
  • Status
  • IsRefunded

I have observed that in cases where Active = “Yes”, Status = “Cancelled”, which would seem to be contradictory. I have also observed a case where Status = "Cancelled" and IsRefunded = “No”. I would appreciate any help in understanding how these fields interact.
