Blackbaud for Outlook not capturing email contents

Just connected the Blackbaud for Outlook functionality and have the proper connections in our Microsoft Outlook for Mac so that I can see the pop out panel on the side for the constituent. While that part is handy, it is not working to record an action or to copy the contents of the email that is sent. I can get it to record an “outbound email” using the side panel option, but I have to enter the same details into the panel and then the SAVE button (which just records that an outbound email was sent, but none of the details in the email get automatically attached as summary, etc.) And since the panel and options aren't as robust as just entering the action into NXT directly, it means entering info in 3 times if I go in to fix it, as opposed to twice when copying and pasting email contents from Outlook into NXT.

I had used a similar functionality a few years ago with Gmail/NXT and it worked pretty seamlessly. I've been away from RE/NXT for a few years in the interim, but would not expect it to have gone backward in that time, so perhaps I'm missing something, maybe it's Outlook or our version? Anyone else have this problem or a possible solution? Thx!

Update: I attempted in webview and this error text appeared in an orange box “A Microsoft Outlook issue prevents us from saving the full email thread while you're in Compose mode. Only your response will be saved, unless you select Edit notes and copy the thread yourself. As a workaround, you can save the full thread from your Inbox, Sent Items, or Drafts folder.”
