Gift v2 API - Edit payment info for a recurring gift

The title of this endpoint sounds promising. We would like to be able to create a UI through which either Donors or Foundation staff can use our website to make changes (cancel, change end date, change amount, etc.) to a recurring gift. However after reading the documentation on this PATCH endpoint it doesn't seem to do anything. Is that because it is a work-in-progress? We there be more functionality and if so when?

Pretty sure you can only Post and Get, not Patch recurring gifts.

@Bryce Howard It specifically says the endpoint is a PATCH, plus the name implies it.

Oh yeah - sorry. Looks like they added a new operationId a few months ago “EditRecurringGiftPaymentInformation”

Seems it lets you swap the account_token out allowing with a new one when it was paid by card. This new-ish operationId doesn't look like it does much else besides allow the payment information to be updated.
