Event Registration Form Fields

Hello all! Is there an API reference for event registration form fields? I would like to audit new events, specifically the event registration form as some event records need to be audited for consistency. Thanks!

there is no api endpoint relating to registration form specific.

What exactly are you trying to audit? event record conforming to standard? participant record?

  • @Alex Wong thanks for the reply! It is mainly to audit the fields such as the constituent code, donation information, and the payment processor.
We have so many events, our data team does not have the capacity to create them all. This would be a solid wait to receive notifications of missing/inaccurate fields. Right now we have to review every new event record.

you cannot audit registration form creation with API, there's no endpoint for that right now.

So the next best thing is to audit information that has been recorded after constituent/gift record is created.

    • constituent code to registrant
      • You can run a nightly check on participant record created during the day and lead back to the constituent record and see if the constituent has the constituency code, if not, you can tell it is not done right on the registration form
    • gift record
      • the CFAP check is going to be useless to check afterward, since if you don't have the cfap specified, you can't commit the webview gift batch.
      • there is also no way to list gift information from a gift batch before it is committed.
      • this part you need to wait for the “soon” to come enhancement and expansion of gift API that will have a LOT more batch functionality
