Online Classrooms: Where Do I Start?

With the move to virtual classrooms and online learning, we've put together links, resources, and other materials to try and make the transition as smooth as possible.

As the world continues to face a very unique and evolving situation, schools and faculty are turning to online classrooms and remote learning. With lots of folks scrambling to set up online classrooms, we wanted to help out by suggesting what we consider a best approach for using each of the Education management products like Academics.

The good news is our software is robust and comes with a lot of features and integrations. The bad news is Blackbaud’s Education Management software is robust and comes with a lot of features and integrations – this can overwhelm users new to distant learning and online class creation. To help, we’ve created an all new online help section called “Getting Faculty Started with Online Classrooms.”

To help get you up and running as quickly as possible, this document focuses on the basics such as introducing faculty to the application as well as a few simple features they can quickly get in place to create a functioning and effective online learning experience. We plan to continue building on this topic often, eventually rolling out additional documentation covering more intermediate and advanced features and considerations educators may want to investigate once they have the classroom in place and are more comfortable with the online environment.

So make sure to bookmark this page as well as our other resources and materials related to working remotely with Blackbaud’s Education management products. We hope your safe and that these resources make life just a little bit easier. We’ll see you back here next time. Thanks for reading!
