What kind of forms are available?

There are two types of forms available for online registration: free events and paid events. These forms can be administered with several options, including the ability to collect additional donations, and allowing organizations to register. You can access these options under Get Started in the online registration form builder.

How do I build an online registration form for an event?

Start building your registration form by accessing the online registration form builder. In Raiser's Edge NXT web view, select Events, then Add an event or edit an existing one. Within the event record, locate the Online registration forms tile. Select "Add form." This opens the Event registration form designer, where you can choose:

• Text content that could include special instructions, a personalized description, and customized formatting.
• Registration options including fees, display names, descriptions, maximum allowed participants, and participation level information.

• Registrant details that will allow you to gather personal information on individual participants, including name, email, address, and phone number. This is also where participants can communicate other personal information, such as T-shirt size, meal preferences, etc.
• Payment completion where participants can select their party hosts, enter billing information, and complete the registration payment.
• Consent options that allow supporters to choose their preferred method of communication from your organization.

How will participants know if their registration was successful?

Under Confirmations, you can use our default confirmation page or redirect registrants to a page on your organization’s website. If you choose the redirect option, you can customize a confirmation page to match your branding style, ensuring a streamlined experience. We provide a default confirmation email that the participants will receive as soon as their registration is complete, and you can further customize the content within the email designer.



After completing these steps, to activate the form and add it to your website, you will need to proceed with the publish phase. This step provides a URL to your form and the HTML snippet that can be used to embed the form into your website. If needed, you can still make changes to the form through the form builder.

Is group registration available?

Yes, Raiser’s Edge NXT does have multi-person registration capabilities, meaning your organization can collect multiple names for tickets, allowing guests to register together for galas, golf tournaments, or other events. As a part of this registration enhancement, you can also change a guest to a host. This feature is perfect for when an event becomes large enough to require two (or more) hosts, or when a registrant, who is already part of another party, decides they want to become a host. Convenience is imperative with group registration capabilities, developed to delight donors by saving time and simplifying the registration process.
