Updating your donation forms with the new Payment Checkout elements in time for the PCI deadline might feel overwhelming, but we can help. Let’s cover how to create a focused plan that could save you time and effort as your organization prepares.
After the previous blog post you might be thinking, “You mean I need to change ALL my donation forms to use these new payment elements to be PCI compliant?”
Well, I am here to provide some relief to let you know:
Not all forms need to be ready on day one!
Start off by building a plan that helps you prioritize the forms that you need when the deadline hits in March 2025.
To do this, organize your campaigns into a calendar so you better understand which forms you publicize at which points throughout the year. This will give you an idea of which forms need to be updated and in which order, focusing on the forms that need to be ready March 1.
We call this creating a “focused plan” because it helps you narrow in on the donation forms that need to be prioritized first, while having a strategy and execution plan for getting the remainder of your forms updated. With this idea in mind, use the infographic below to develop your own focused plan with your team.
