Can I merge a new Individual constituent's registrations into a Organization's existing record?

Sometimes an individual does not enter their company name when registering a list of guests for a company. If I merge their record (since they're new) into their company's record, will it carry those registrants over? They are all Guest of that individual registrant. (I've updated our form to encourage registering as an organization)

@Christine Unruh The guests will move into the ORG Record in the Event tab when you merge, but to merge you will need to convert that individual record to an ORG record first.

@Christine Unruh In theory it should work but I tried this exact thing last week. When I converted the record to org and then merged I lost the event registrations. Surprise! I figured it couldn't convert individual event reg to org event reg since it asks that in reg process.

Just be sure you have screenshot or info needed to recreate.
