What's New in Raiser's Edge NXT the week of November 25

This week, Raiser's Edge NXT updates with additional gift record information and some nifty enhancements to ease the management of custom lists! 

 

View gifts' related corporate matching gifts. Many corporations offer programs that match their employees' donations to eligible nonprofits. On a gift's record, you can now view details about any related corporate gifts under Matching gifts. For each matching gift, you can view its corporate donor, how much was pledged or received (and when), and the fund it applied toward. (In a future release, you'll be able to view details about the gifts a corporate gift matches from its record.) For more information, see the Matching Gifts Help.



View benefits for membership dues. With Membership Management, you can set up membership programs to encourage donor loyalty. To help incentivize constituents to join as members, your organization may offer exclusive benefits — such as reduced admission, t-shirts, or other merchandise — to thank them for their continued support. On the gift record of a membership dues payment, you can now view details about any related incentives under Benefits. For each benefit, you can view how many the member receives, its worth to both you and the member, and when you sent or fulfilled it. (In a future release, you'll be able to add and manage these benefits from the gift record.) For more information, check the Membership Benefits Help.



Manage custom lists. To help maintain custom lists, the recent Lists feature now includes several enhancements.

• ​You can now edit a list's name and security setting — such as whether others can use it — whenever you save it in Lists. (Previously, you could only set these details when you first saved a list.)
• To help identify lists restricted to your own personal use, those no one else can use now appear with a status of Private when you select which ones to open. 
• To help prevent confusion, you can no longer open multiple instances of a saved list at the same time.

In the future, you'll be able to save copies of lists, save the records in a list rather than just its filter settings, and easily share saved lists with others at your organization. For more information about the Lists feature, see the Lists Help.
