What's New In Raiser's Edge NXT The Week Of August 13

This week, Raiser's Edge NXT introduces the ability to filter constituent lists by fundraiser type. Also, Events is now generally available in web view for those with Events Management. 

 Filter constituents by fundraiser type in Portfolio and Constituents Lists. From Fundraising, Work, Portfolio or Lists, Constituents, you can now filter the constituent list based on the type of the constituents' assigned fundraisers. Previously, you could only filter by fundraiser. 


Select  Filters, Constituent basics. Under Assigned to, to filter by fundraiser type, select Fundraiser type. Choose which type to include, and select Select. 


Only constituents with a current solicitor relationship of the type you choose are returned.

• To choose from fundraiser types marked as inactive, select Show inactive. 
• To quickly view the fundraiser types you chose, select Only show selected items.

Tip: If you select to filter on fundraisers and fundraiser types, then the fundraiser(s) you choose must have one of the selected fundraiser types.

Add and manage events (now generally available). With Events Management, you can raise awareness for your mission, engage constituents, and encourage donations. Now, everyone with Events Management can manage their events and the people who sign up for them in the web view.

In Events, you can:

• Add events and manage details about them, such as when they take place

• Set prices

• Add and manage participants and their guests

• Mark attendance

Note: Admins! Events privileges set for a user's security group only apply to Events Management features in the database view. To enable users to access Events in the web view, create an event role and add them to it from Control Panel, Security. For more information, see Events Security.
