Let Online Registrants Select Their Event Options

Over the summer Blackbaud hosted a virtual innovation day for employees and their families. Part of being a participant included receiving a t-shirt. My whole family wanted to participate. There are four members of my family and, as I’m sure will surprise no one, we all wear different sizes of t-shirts (even if I steal my spouse’s from time to time). Thankfully, when I registered for the event through an online form, I was able to request four t-shirts in four different sizes.

When adding an online event registration form to an event in Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge NXT®, you can give your registrants the ability to select their own participant options for each ticket selected when filling out the form. To do so, first configure the participant options in the event record. Then confirm or add the participant option element to the Registrant details section of the form. Are there certain ticket types that should not have a specific participant option? When building the form, edit the field for that participant option and select only the ticket types that should see that option.
