What's New In Financial Edge NXT: New Attributes And Multiple Dashboards!

Financial Edge NXT recently updated with new attributes as well as the ability to create and manage multiple dashboards.

Transaction Codes and Status Attributes


You can now use the following new attributes to further categorize and track transactions when building your insights:
  • Transaction code  – Further categorization of a transaction, such as Educational Activity. There are five available transaction code attributes that appear as Transaction code 1, Transaction code 2, and so forth.
  • Transaction code status  – State of the transaction code, such as Active or Inactive. There are five available transaction code status attributes that appear as Transaction code 1 status, Transaction code 2 status, and so forth. 
Take note! You can configure the names of transaction codes and statuses to fit your business needs. To define transaction codes, you must access Transaction Codes in the Configuration module of Financial Edge 7. Custom names you enter are reflected in the web view.

To help enable focused analysis, you can now create and manage multiple dashboards — each with its own context and related metrics — in  AnalysisDashboard builder.


  • To create a new dashboard, select Add dashboard, give it a unique name, add its related insights and KPIs, and select Save & Publish.
  • To remove an unused dashboard, select it in AnalysisDashboard builder, and then select EditDelete, and Delete.
