The Latest Releases in Blackbaud Grantmaking’s Applicant and Grantee Portal

More updates are now available in Blackbaud Grantmaking's Applicant and Grantee Portal.Overview of the New Applicant and Grantee Portal

Blackbaud’s new Applicant and Grantee Portal is designed to enhance your grant management experience. This contemporary platform replaces the legacy IGAM system, providing tools that simplify both the grant manager experience and the applicant and grantee experience. The new portal features user-friendly capabilities that enable efficient tracking and management of grant applications:
  • Easier to use and navigate, backed by real feedback from grant managers across the globe
  • Incorporates conditional logic, reducing the number of forms grant managers need to create and manage
  • Enhanced account handling minimizes administrative tasks, such as password recovery, using Blackbaud ID for Single Sign-On
  • Applicants can view and manage all grant applications submitted using Blackbaud Grantmaking across funders in one portal, creating a one-stop shop for communication between funders and applicants
  • Significantly improved customization with real-time form updates and enhanced formatting options
  • AI-driven language translation capabilities for application forms so grant managers can reach more applicants globally
Preservation of Historical Data

Rest assured that you won't lose access to historical data. Applicants can download their application history while the Legacy Portal is still active, and after that time the grant manager can share reports from their grantmaking database with applicants and grantees upon request.

Comments

  • How is percentage coding being activated ? You mentioned it is ready but my experience has been so frustrating.
We ask about Gender and age groups in most of our forms and even with the 'tracked percentage codes' turned on in the classification tables, no percentage fields appear in the Application form. I've raised this question with the support chat 10 days ago and still have not received a solution. It's elevated to the technical team with comments that "in progress applications will be affected and the technical team has to introduce it to the form on my behalf". I told them not to worry about in progress/submitted applications, that I just need it actioned.
I can see in the website that

    • You must have percentage-enabled fields inserted in your applications forms by Customer Support .

Will this be ongoing ? Every time I create a form I'll need to ask Customer Support ? And then they take 10 days with no resolution… Please explain better process to include percentage coding and why it takes so long to get an answer from customer support.

    Thanks !
