What’s New

We’re excited to announce several powerful enhancements that are now available in Financial Edge NXT web view. These updates are designed to streamline your workflows and give you more control over your financial data.

  • Add multiple bank accounts to payment assistant for greater flexibility
  • Check printing enhancements
  • Expense Management - quickly verify invoice requests using new layout!
  • Monitor bank and credit card accounts on new Home tiles for quick access and visibility
  • Create purchase orders from purchase requests

  • BB AI Chat (currently in EAP for some customers)
  • Automated deposits (currently in EAP for some customers)

The following features are in LA for some customers.

  • Reports generate seamlessly in the background so you can work without disruption

Modernized Look and Feel

Have you noticed the modernized, refreshed look and feel across your Blackbaud products? We updated several user experiences across products, including Financial Edge NXT, such as sign-in and navigation updates.

All functionality remains the same!

For example, here is an updated sign-in form with the modern refresh styles applied:

These visual changes will continue to roll out to the rest of the product as time allows.

Note: If you use custom branding, you will retain your branding colors during the sign-in experience.

What’s Next

We’re currently working on several features and enhancements for Financial Edge NXT web view. Here are some of the updates you’ll see in upcoming releases:

  • Allocations — Manage indirect cost allocations
  • Blackbaud AI Chat
  • Expenses — Generate invoice requests
  • Automated deposits —  only for gifts disbursed through Blackbaud Merchant Services
  • Sales tax report
  • Receivables — 3rd party billing
  • Public sector bodies report (Canada customers) — will be available in Receivables with updated filters
  • Business activity statement (Australia and New Zealand customers) — will be available in Receivables with updated filters
  • Payment Assistant enhancements

Total Web Solution Journey

We've extended the completion timeline for Total Web Solution (TWS) to the first half of 2026.  This extension decision was made to ensure you have time to adopt, while also allowing time for improvements in usability and performance, based on your feedback!

By slowing the process, we hope users will feel assured and well-supported as they adapt to Financial Edge NXT's new workflows.

Stay engaged with our TWS journey right here and through our dedicated Total Web Solution page, the Product Update Briefing (PUB), your monthly emails, and of course, the in-product notifications. These resources will keep you up-to-date on the latest developments and what's coming next. Thank you for being part of this exciting transformation!
