NXT Donation Form Designer - Phone Number? Max width?

Is there a way to add a phone number to the donation form through the NXT designer? I don't see that option.

Also, is there a reason the form defaults to a 600px max width? The looks awful on my desktop, but I don't want to change anything without considering how it might affect other screen sizes.

And speaking of width, is there a way to change the width of the buttons? I have a bit of text to add for each donation amount and would rather the text didn't wrap if the screen size allowed for it.

    Hi Scott, there isn't a way to add phone number just yet to the forms but something we've been talking about adding. 


    600px is a pretty common width for forms though it doesn't work for all designs for sure. Feel free to change the iframe size, you won't break anything. The form is designed to be responsive and I think the breakpoint of that is 320px. 


    Not a way to style the width of the buttons just yet. If you wanted to change the width would you prefer all the buttons resize to the same width or just the one you need to?

    Hi Mark, we don't have a release timeline for Canadian orgs, also something we're evaluating at the moment. We will update the roadmap calls as soon as we know with more confidence.

    Thanks, Ken, this is very helpful. Yes, I was a little confused that I had the opportunity to associate a default phone number type, but no way to include it in the form. This precludes us from using this form entirely, as it's a field we not only want available but actually require. We'll keep using Online Express for the time being.


    I think we'd prefer the buttons to all have the same width. It would be really interesting to be able to size the buttons independently yourself to be able to call out a specific suggested amount. I'd love to see data on how that affects donations. But as a start, it would be great to have them stretch a little more when the space is available, then all adjust to be the size of the longest/largest button. Maybe a character limit is in order for this to work? I know some people may not like that at all.


    Also, is there a way to have a choice to have the form default to recurring gifts? I think people would be very interested in choosing that feature.

    Any update on when phone numbers will be included as part of the form. We need it to be able to use the forms for most things.
