Smart Field

How do I SEE the actual smart field on a constituent's Smart Field tab? I'm tearing my hair out. I have permission to run the total visits but thought that was then shown in that individual tab. what am i missing - do i need further permissions? thanks

If the tab is empty on an individual's smart field tab, they are not included in the results for that smart field. If you know they are included in the results of a smart field and it's still showing as blank, I would say you need additional permissions. Thanks for the feedback - still unable to see ANY thing on the smart fields tab and that article referenced is now outdated...BUT it gave me a starting point with our IT department and a start for me to call Altru help! thanks again

Poking around a bit before calling...in Knowledgebase I just learned some smart fields do not show in the tab...I wonder which ones do not/do? Also the membership visits advice was interesting:

Sorry about the outdated article. I can say you would need any associated permissions tied to the type of smart field that is created. The same is true for queries, if you don't have the associated permissions, you can't see any queries associated with that permission. Does that make sense? If you can't see Revenue, for example, you wouldn't see any smart fields or queries that involve revenue.
