Hello,

I am about to input data for several individuals.  Some of these individuals are married.  I want to be able to mail them either individually or as a couple.  Can you please tell me how best to input this data?

    Different organizations certainly input this data in different ways. It sounds like, for your purposes, you'd want them to have separate accounts and then link them with a Household Relationship. If you link them as a household relationship, it gives you the option to report on their giving together later for mailings if you want to. There are data return types in queries for Head of Household so you only bring in one of the two individuals and well as report/communications fields for Household giving so you can include giving for the entire household. Of course, you can keep everything as separate individuals by reporting just on Accounts as well.
