Good morning, 

I know this has been discussed many many times but I am having a hard time finding the thread.  I need to do an a query then export that shows the DAF, the amount, and the donor/soft credit recipient.  Can anyone recommend the type of query best for this? And any thoughts on export set up? Any help would be greatly appreciated.  :) thanks!

    My default is usually constituent query. How you pull will depend on your data entry. How are your DAFs identified? Are you looking at all gifts or filtering by fund? Query would be to just group the DAFs. In export you'll need to set all the fields you want to pull.

    Thanks for your reply! I just need to show a list of: 

    The DAF Name

    Amount

    Date 

    The donor name that it is soft credited to

    How are your DAFs identified? Groupable?  Do they all have a DAF constituent code? Figure out how to get the records you need in the query.


    Use the query in Export function and output DAF name, Gift > Soft Credits > Constituent Name.  You'll need to give a # of gifts to export and # of SC per gift. Output gift amount, date.

    Ok, I see. I will need to code my DAFs.  Right now they have various constituent codes. Thank you so much!
