Start Date Error in Merging Fundraisers

I was testing a fix for issue in Knowledge base article 190280  (for Service Pack 23) when I received this error after trying to merge the fundraisers: Prospect manager's start date of source constituent must be on or after the start date of previous prospect manager of target constituent.

Is anyone experiencing this same error? I was able to merge non-fundraiser constituents with no issues.

    I tried again and was able to merge 2 fundraisers with no errors. As the article said, I had to ensure that they are both prospect managers and primary managers on prospect plans. Prior 2 fundraisers that I chose to merge were current fundraisers and they had many prospect plans, so most likely they weren’t primary on some of them. So instead, I took a couple of non-fundraisers, made them fundraisers, assigned prospects and prospect plans, and made them primary managers for these prospects and plans. Then, I was able to merge with no issues.
