Policy and Procedures Manual

Hello everyone,

I'm in a pickle. I have been contracted to work on some projects for an arts organization that just got RENXT. The final project is a P&P manual. I have snippets of things to add, but nothing formatted yet and I'm in my last week. Oh - and I have no computer at home, the organization is not open for business, and so I'm borrowing a kiosk computer which does not have Word. This is the second time I'm attempting to post here. This kiosk computer died in the middle of my last attempt. PHHHHTTTHT.

Anyway, I am looking for some policy and procedure manual samples from folks who have found their manuals to be helpful and user friendly. But also, lately it seems that many organizations are moving away from the detailed, screen-shot-riddled policy and procedure manuals. Less like a training document, more streamlined. Does anyone have any experience or expertise with these concepts? The organization I'm working with is kind of special and I'd like to leave them with something that will be useful for a long time. Not sure how good it can be with my technical obstacles, so if you have dealt with this type of situation before and have any suggestions, I'd be grateful to hear them.
