"Needs Attention" Tags Priority

Hi All,

Does anyone have an explanation of the priority/logic used when ordering the tiles in a Work Center "Needs Attention" Carousel? All I can find is that they are prioritized with "more urgent needs first", but I cannot find the order of priority or what is considered most urgent.

Thanks!

Heather

  • In our list, I noticed that all the ones with an outstanding pledge are first in line, and the recent gift with no contact ones are the next. Now, that's just what I see in mine, but maybe a starting point if BB doesn't come back with an answer. :)

I've confirmed how these are prioritized and I've updated KB 104600 with the details as well.

The nightly process that assigns tags assigns the priority as well.  If a Constituent meets certain criteria, it is assigned a tag.  Subsequent additional tags will not change the priority.  For example, if a Constituent has an overdue pledge, an upcoming birthday and is lapsing, only the overdue pledge tag will be received because it is the highest priority.

    The order is:

if pledge_overdue is true then priority is 1

if higher_giving_potential is true then priority is 2

if Recent gift is true then priority is 3

if birthday_upcoming is true then priority is 4

if new_donor is true then priority is 5

if registered_for_event is true  then priority is 6

if attended_recent_event is true then priority is 7

if At Risk Donor status then priority is 8

if Lapsing Donor status then priority is 9

if Lapsed Donor status then priority is 10

if Lost Donor status then priority is 11

if no_recent_contact is true then priority is 12

if no_recent_meetings is true then priority is 13

if recently_assigned is true then priority is 14

if recent_wealth_data is true then priority is 15
if high_wealth_rating is true then priority is 16

NOTE: This is a nightly process, so if you modify a Constituent record and they should receive different tags as a result, the new tag will not appear until the next time the process runs.
