Additional code for Attendance for Attended Class

During our virtual learning we still had full schedules of learning.  We did have an issue with attendance with 2 students.  Because of their parents work schedule they were unable to attend the scheduled classes but they did do all their work so in theory they were never absent.  I will add this to the idea section but what kind of code can I use since I cannot create an additional attended class code to show they werent absent.


Did anyone else have an issue like this?

    If we do any sort of hybrid model I can see us needing to track who is physically on campus and who is on virtually.

    We are planning (hoping?) to open the year with an alternating day plan - on campus one day and remote the next day.  Our administrators have not thought though the questions surrounding attendance records yet. 


    I don't see a good way to record the difference between physically present in the classroom and virtually present online.  I will probably add an "ABSENT-Remote" reason for teachers to record an absence for a student who was expected to be online but was not.

    I figure we'd know any given group/classes that are supposed to be home, but it just makes for more sorting through if we had an emergency and needed to know who was on campus vs who was tuning in from home.
