Multiple tribute names in a gift acknowledgement letter

This should be easy, but I cannot figure it out.  We have a conditional merge set up for our Spring Appeal letter - one with no tribute names and the other with up to five tribute names.  In Word, I used an IF statement to add the commas (for example, to put the word "and" between name 1 and name 2 if name 3 is blank:  IF {MERGEFIELD HonorMemorial_Name_3}=" " and" ","_).


I KNOW others must have done this, but Support was of no use.  Can anyone help me out please?

    I'm a bit late to the party on this one so you've probably already solved it, but I would guess that you want to insert a comma if the following two tribute names are not blank, and an "and" if the following name is not blank but the one after that is (or you've reached the fifth name).

    Is that the entire code?  I've been meaning to add some code like this to our acknowledgement letters, but it's been on the back burner so long that I probably burned the pot. 


    Adding code to Word isn't my most enjoyable thing, but it's not bad.
