Sharing application files with others in the school

I completely agree - we are just finishing up our first admission season with Enrollment Management and our registrar/academic records person needs all the school reports and any other academic information for all our newly enrolled students. Since we have a single student information system we thought the academic records would follow the student but apparently we now need to download whatever documents we want to follow the students into their academic file and then upload them again. 

And as Lisa said - what if a teacher wants to know something about a newly enrolled student? I don't like the idea of sharing the entire admission file with them via Committee Review. There should be a way to share a file or parts of a file with faculty and staff as needed. 

We are still in the midst of trying to sort out specific files to share within our EMS console. I've tried creating a Committee and allowing specific document permissions, the only issue is that several application files are flagged as MISC, which in turn displays information that we would like to keep private. We've also looked into turning on the share feature within Enrollment over to “files & forms” on the CORE profile. The issue there is that only Platform Managers can see those files.
