Reporting Admissions Revenue with new Timed Ticket Program

I am hoping someone would share how they successfully report on revenue in Altru with timed entry admissions. Our accounting manager currently has to run 3 different Altru reports and multiple queries that get exported into Excel then use pivot tables to get accurate attendance and revenue numbers for accurate each day's timed admission. If you have an admissions program where patrons can purchase tickets in advance, could you share what reports and queries give you the most accurate revenue and attendance totals?

Thanks!

  • Hi Christina,

We just started our timed-entry admissions last week. For revenue, I can use the same procedure as usual. I download the Total Revenue and Payments Report as a csv,  remove extra rows to turn it into a table, and then pivot it.

We are just starting to figure out how to look at attendance, but I think that will involve multiple reports. Event Attendance shows how many tickets are scanned (we just got our scanners, but were entering in the ticket numbers). I also use Sales Comparison (This one is tricky because it is by sales date and not attended date) and I have a Sales Order query that I use to compare full price to discounted tickets for our monthly dashboard. I think it is going to be much more time-consuming at the end of the month now.
