We would love the ability to create a workflow designer around the Last Gift, as opposed to be driven by a new gift for LYBUNT emails - so if a year has passed since the donor's last gift, they would get an email. Right now, there's no way to create a dynamic query to identify those people and there is no option within workflow designer either.

    Quick question for you. Would the scenario you are looking for not work with the Latest Gift filter in Lists?  I do see that you can't really do "latest gift was a year ago" very easily, but I was just wondering if that would work at all.


    Since all of our workflow filters run based on the features available in Lists today, this would be a good Idea to submit for Lists so that it would allow you to create lists for this scenario AND use those lists for workflows as well.  Seems like a great suggestion to me!

    I can only use the Latest Gift filter for "last calendar year" which would, in theory, give me LYBUNT constituents for an end of year giving campaign, but I am looking for something more dynamic - to be able to send an email one year after their last gift. So, for example, a donor last made a donation in May 2019 - I am trying to create a workflow for an email to get triggered in May 2020. If I just use Latest Gift was last calendar year, the email would go to my May donor, but also go to donors who gave in June-December 2019.

    From your list of gifts from May 2019--to avoid mailing to those who gave June -Dec 2019, how about creating an exclusion list and exclude gifts given during that time frame?
