New Email History Tile in Limited Availability Release...

Hello Everyone,


I'm excited to announce that on Tuesday, September 22, 2020 we rolled out our initial Limited Availability wave of the Email History tile.


The Email History Tile in both RENXT and Church Management will allow you to track a constituent’s responsiveness to email marketing and fundraising efforts and view messages on the constituent record. The Email History Tile enables you to track email Opens, Clicks, OptOuts, Bounces, Donations and Registrations for email communications sent beginning April 1, 2020 from Email in RENXT (including Workflow Designer) and Church Management. Other types of messages like email confirmations sent from RENXT and communications sent from other Blackbaud products will not be available as a part of this release. You can find more details in Help under Constituents > Constituent Records > Email History.


We'd love to hear your feedback. Please let us know what you like, what we could do better and what could help you in a future release.


If you don't see the Email History tile yet, don't worry. We are gradually rolling this out to all customers over the next few months, so stay tuned.

  • This is such a crucial feature, and exactly what I was just coming to this forum to figure out if it was a feature coming down the pipe. We've started sending more emails through NXT and are struggling to figure out how to best track it in each constituent's record without flooding their actions.


    Looking forward to having this released more broadly so we have access to it! :)
  • I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the tile this week!  It is exactly what we needed to see.  Although, I do agree Dan Snyder that it would be great to see aggregate numbers for the constituent in regards to open and click rates.  This would be so helpful to our relationship managers when they are looking at a constituent.  If these aggregates could also be a filter in a list, i.e. pull anyone who has an open rate of 0%, so that we could easily see who is engaged with emails and who isn't.  This would help us clean up our email lists.  But, I love the new tile!
  • Will the Timeline tile be updated to include Emails as well?  I hope that hasn't been overlooked as it's just as critical there as the other items that are there.  Thanks.
