Contact Preferences in a Newsletter

What are your best suggestions for adding contact preferences/consent to a newsletter email, other than the unsubscribe at the bottom? We want to have a bit more robust options to opt in and out, which I see you can do on a donation form, but I can't quite figure out why I can't make that work on an email.  We're in Canada so they haven't opened up all the NXT Marketing features to us yet, so I'm open to doing this email in either NXT or OLX. 


Would appreciate any suggestions!

    The link is to a google form that gives options to give us new contact information and update the contact preferences.

    Having it down near the unsubscribe is helpful so they click that instead of unsubscribe.
