Using Email Marketing Function in RE NXT

We are trying to transition from using MailChimp for email appeals to using RE NXTs Email Marketing Function. We have done a couple test emails and they are all going to the junk/spam folders.

Any ideas on how to avoid being marked as spam through NXT?

  • We are also converting from Constant Contact to RENXT email and had a similar issue.  In our case, the test emails are being blocked by our schools Microsoft 365 system entirely, not even making it to the junk mailbox.  After several chats with Blackbaud, I had to get our own IT support involved because the solution is way above my technical knowledge.  It's in process of being solved (I hope).  Bottom line, if you  have IT support, you might have to get them involved.
  • Try searching DKIM, DMARC on Blackbaud website.  You need to make sure those are set up fully to help not get marked as spam.  There are also a few webinars that Blackbaud has hosted that will help with this information.
  • Hi Emily Moritz‍, Susan Todaro‍. Our Email Resource Center is chock full of good info about email deliverability, including what you can/should be doing to maximize it as well as what we do on our end.

Coincidentally, Michele Stender‍ and I just presented a webinar today comparing email in RENXT to Online Express email and one of the topics we touched on was what Dennisa Walker‍ referred to (and was right about). Here's the super abbreviated version of the email DNS settings that you should be sure you've taken care of (documented more exhaustively in the Email Resource Center):

    Hi Chris,

Do you know where I can see that webinar in demand? And would you happens to know if there's a tutorial somewhere that I can use to help me set the RENXT functions?

    Thank you,

    Wynnie
