Marking a checklist item complete when uploading a miscellaneous file

Hello,

For any of the application documents submitted (recommendations, report cards, etc.) that are not submitted directly through the portal and are instead emailed/mailed to us, we have been uploading them under the Record tab under either Miscellaneous or Recommendations. That's working fine, but is there any way to have a drop down option to be able to mark that checklist item as "Complete" in the same place/time that you are uploading it? It would save an extra step and prevent us from forgetting, because whats happening now is that we manually upload it in one place it and then we have to remember to go to their checklist to mark it as complete.


I know it's an option because for some reason if we are uploading an applicant questionnaire, a drop-down menu will pop up asking for the Checklist Step.....could we add that drop down menu for all manual uploads?


Alternatively, can we add an "Add" button directly on the checklist next to each recommendation type so that we can manually add from there? (We had that capability last year but don't have it this year).

  • Hi Talia, you should be able to click "add" from your checklist step for most of the items you mentioned, I think this might be a set up issue. I'd recommend contacting support and having them take a look.

  • YES! We request that candidates share documents through the admissions checklist. We have several feeder schools that consistently email the documents - including recommendations, which bypasses our online recommendation forms. It would be a huge time-saver if the admissions team could attach/tie a document to the step for the online recommendation.
