Inter fund Entries

I am need of some help regarding Inter-fund Entries and how to set them up for Financial Edge NXT. The directions provided to me by Blackbaud don't make sense (as they are for database view) and Blackbaud support wasn't super helpful on the issue. I am hoping I can touch base with someone who might provide a visual guide on how they set there inter fund entries up.

    My understanding is that inter-fund set up is only done in the database view in the configuration. Our implementation consultant did that for us so I can't really say how it is done but something along the lines of saying this fund cam post to this fund. If I remember there is a table that you list this fund can post to this fund, and you enter all the combinations. Example below.


    Fund1-XXXX-XX   Fund2-XXXX-XX

    Fund1-XXXX-XX   Fund3-XXXX-XX

    Fund1-XXXX-XX   Fund4-XXXX-XX

    Fund 2-XXXX-XX  Fund1-XXXX-XX

    etc.


    The X's should be astrix '*' to indicate only account and/or department.


    Hopefully someone else can add to this to explain better.
