401 API error - Authentication failed. User is not mapped for specified tenant.

in Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT® APIs
Getting this message with a 401 error when are sending data to https://api.sky.blackbaud.com/generalledger/v1/journalentrybatches . the token is expires only in September 2021. Any idea on how to resolve this?

    Hi Varsha,

    This sounds like you're missing the Financial Edge NXT- specific user and security setup. For this call to work, you have to have created a user in the Financial Edge NXT system who has rights to add/edit journal entries, and an FE administrator can do that; that's not something we can do. Once you have that user and you can do a quick test and login to the software to make sure they can add journal entries, There's a good authorization overview at https://developer.blackbaud.com/skyapi/docs/authorization

    Thanks Eddie! I have reached out to our customer to do that. It was previously working and then suddenly stopped in November. May be the original user is not with the customer anymore. I'll let you know if we have any issues.
