Other users frustrated by lack of database restore for RE NXT test environments?

At our institution, we've invested adding a test environment in Azure for RE NXT so that our users can train and practice in a place that won't mess up our production environment.


Some time last year a problem was identified with copying databases from production environments to test environments, per How to refresh a Test database with a current backup of a Live database in Blackbaud Hosting Services or Microsoft Azure - Blackbaud Knowledgebase (https://kb.blackbaud.com/articles/Article/50923). I've just been told that this problem remains unresolved.


Is anyone else experiencing the same issue? Have any work-arounds been identified?

    We have been working with our retainer consultant who was not aware of the problem. It was our previous project administrator who let us know that the data refreshes, but the configurations do not. For us that means if you have things hidden in NXT, say custom ratings from a previous database, you have to reconfigure the settings each time you refresh. ANNOYING. In the meantime NOBODY wants to take ownership of the problem. We requested our sandbox to be refreshed in December ... still waiting.
