Contracts not publishing?

Hello. We are trying to generate contracts, but they dont seem to be publishing anywhere. We have assigned them to families and generated them, but families cannot see them. We have entered a publish date for the contract form. What are we missing??

By the way, Ive been waiting for chat support for almost and hour now...

Any insights would be appreciated!

  • Hi Katharine,

    Two possibilities-
    1. Make sure the contract is active
    2. Check that students have an enrollment for next year.

    Good luck!

    Kathy
  • Make sure the "Contract" is checked off as a Task for the Parent Role.

  • Make sure parents are checked off as "responsible signer". There is a report for that: Reports>Admission>Re-enrollment reports>contract view access
  • In addition to the advice others have provided, two tips from my experience:
    • If the contracts are for Candidates/Incoming Students, be sure that the checklist steps that impact whether the contract can be seen are either Waived or Completed. For instance, we have an (entering) milestone "Decision" with the step type Decision. If even one step prior to this is Awaiting, the contract will not be visible.
    • Also: if a candidate ends up (mistakenly) with two acceptances, one must be deleted before parents can view the contract.
    Good luck!
  • Thanks everyone. In this case, the problem was tied to not entering in a tuition amount. We haven't finished launching Smart Tuition, so I hadn't entered in a tuition amount because we not including the financial aid award, etc and are invoicing later. I had manually entered in the proper tuition amount(s) as text into the contract. It turns out that the contracts wont publish unless I enter in a tuition amount. Fortunately I can choose not to show it to parents so that I can avoid confusion.

    Thank for your advice!
