SKY View - Adding Note not Possible when Creating Requirement Record

When creating a requirement manually to a request record, I don't see the Note/Long Note section where I can add specifics about that requirement. However, once the requirement is added/saved, I have to go back to the requirement, open it, then add the necessary note(s) - this section is only visible AFTER saving and reopening a requirement record. Am I missing something? I tried to scroll down to see if the Notes section is hiding at bottom of the screen when I initially create a requirement, but I don't see it. Those extra steps (save/reopen) are really unnecessary if the Notes section initially appear during the creation of a requirement record.

  • Hi Patricia, that is very unusual. Because I am unable to replicate the issue you are experiencing, I recommend you reach out to Support for more direct assistance.
  • This issue occurs when I create a requirement within a request record (once you open a request record, then click on Create Requirements). It also occurs when we don't open a request record: In the Workspace once we select a request record, and add a check mark, then clicking Create/Requirements on bottom toolbar. If I create a requirement in Dashboard, using the drop down button "Add New Record," and selecting Requirement, I can see the Notes section; however, this way is not efficient because it is forcing you to create a requirement from scratch - doesn't already have the necessary information of a specific request record; you have to add everything (Org/Request/Contact/Staff/etc).
