Printing directly from reports print preview

This became an issue a little over a year ago and even though we have found a work-around for it - I am wondering if Blackbaud has an update on whether they are going to be able to fix this issue with the issue of printing directly from NXT without having to use the work around of Exporting to a PDF etc. I know they say it is a Google Chrome issue but I don't have this problem with any other software or websites I access with Google Chrome so not sure why it is only with NXT. It also seems to work in database view fine and we access that via Google Chrome as well.

    I totally agree - should not be a big issue to correct and definitely should not have taken this long - very disappointing. Would really like an answer from Blackbaud or better yet... a solution.

    I agree as well. It's already a bit cumbersome to run a report and open it. Then to have to open the pdf in order to print is another waste of clicks and time. It would be super helpful to be able to open a saved report, make a change, and run it in a mode that is printable right from the saved report. I know I can export a saved report to pdf from the main report screen but that doesn't help if I need to change a detail in the report. It just seems like NXT requires extra clicks and isn't very tab friendly.

    Question, when you enter a JE and validate or post in NXT not database view ...is your account description truncated and do you know who to modify the validation report or posting report?

    Control+P works in google chrome.

    I tried that but it only prints the screen not the full report.


    Never have an issue with any other software or sites I am in on Google Chrome - just FE NXT

    Odd, it works for me in Google Chrome. Right after you press view report, don't click anything and press control+p. If you click on the report, it messes up the print view. But you can also fix that by pressing the toggle sidebar button and pressing on any of the pages. Then control+p.
