Power Automate Error: Volunteer Sign-Up Form

Hello,

I am very new to RE NXT. I have taken all the steps to implement the Volunteer Sign-Up flow via the template provided by Blackbaud. However I am running into an error message and I don't know why. The error is within the email field:

[{"message":"The table 'Phone Types' does not contain an active entry named 'Email'","error_name":"TableEntryNotFound","error_code":1002,"raw_message":"The table 'Phone Types' does not contain an active entry named 'Email'","error_args":[]}]

The error message refers to the fact that the you are supplying an entry with a "Phone Type" of "Email" and "Email" is not an entry in the dropdown for that type. I am not sure if you are supplying the email address as a phone or if your types of email does not contain the type "Email". (The use of the phrase "Phone Types" is a legacy thing where previously all contact devices e.g. telephone, email, web link, etc were "Phones")

You should either select an existing type or retrieve the available types from the email types:

or from the phone types (depending on what you are actually doing)

Hi Kristen,

The error you should know when you use a wrong data type (integer instead of string) or when your expression is invalid. The fact is that your flow will stop running when an error is encountered and you don't have any error handling configured.
