Consolidating all donations that have come in for an Honor/Memorial/Tribute and send one letter to the acknowledgee?

Hello everyone!
In BBCRM, we currently use the Standard Acknowledgement process for all of our acknowledgement letters. Has anyone has success in the Standard Acknowledgement process with consolidating all donations that have come in for an Honor/Memorial/Tribute and send one letter to the acknowledgee (next of kin)?  We would like this as part of the acknowledgement queue process, not as an outside separate process. If not, then have you set this up with success in the Marketing Acknowledgements process? We would appreciate any links and recommended processes. Thank you!

  • Hi Catherine - I was wondering where you landed on this. Yale is actually weighing the pros/cons of incorporating into our standard marketing acknowledgment process or using the out of box tribute acknowledgement process. I was surfing the community to see what others have done. Thanks, Melissa Mason
  • OSU has a pretty complex acknowledgement process (emai/mail - with dynamic content based off of giving) and very manual honor/memorial/tribute process (to consolidate all on one) - happy to share if you would like
  • Hi Julie, thanks for the offer! It would be great to see what you are doing for the Acknowledgee (Next of Kin) Tribute letter process and how you manage consolidating multiple donors into one Acknowledgee letter. We would love to streamline this into the Acknowledgee letter.
  • Hi Melissa, we have not yet figured out how to consolidate multiple donors into the Acknowledgee letter (Next of Kin) since this may require a customization so I am still exploring this. We've had great success with our standard acknowledgement/tribute processes and are always adding and growing our letter queues. Good luck!
