Is there somewhere to edit what appears in the PDF?

The message is very generic and we would love to edit it to include some of our “brand voice” and ideally letterhead.

    At this time there is not an option to customize it.

    You can customize receipts in online express and in Database view of NXT for receipts

    In email designer, you can drop in your logo and customize the message. We also add our tax language in the footer. But I agree, it's pretty generic. We don't use the NXT receipting for our restricted grants because we need to indicate the fund. Email designer fields allow you to drop in the Fund, but our fund descriptions were not meant to be “public facing” so we can't do that. We use for annual giving and just drop in the allocation as text.

    My apologies, I was talking about the email receipt. The PDF version is very plain and generic.

    I continue to be shocked at how poorly Blackbaud releases new features. The pdf receipting feature is unusable due to not being able to customize. I'm not sending a donor something that says Page 1 of 1 at the top…

    I hate to up an older post, but has there been any movement on this yet? Have they been able to make these PDFs editable before creating them?

    Also, there are several Ideas in the Idea Bank for this. Please vote for them all.

    Ha! Here is your answer….KB 198963. This basically renders the receipt PDF and giving statement useless, in my opinion. The generic versions don't cut it.
