Hi - I did some digging, but didn't see anything specific - I'm brand new as a database manager for Raiser's Edge and NXT. I'm wondering if anyone has good training video recommendations or ways to get up to speed quickly. Thanks!

    Brand new, first timer. I have experience with other databases, and I'm hoping something transfers. I just started BBU and will use that!

    Welcome to the BB Community, Christopher! BB University will get you up to speed quickly, but as you see BB Community is a great place to learn and bounce off ideas as well. @Austen Brown and @JoAnn Strommen among others are Rock Stars? and really provide excellent, helpful tips.

    Sorry to hijack this thread: are there any resources that people would recommend for the bits of being a database manager that are less about RE and more about the other skills required? I guess I'm the opposite of Christopher - I'm familiar with RE already and considering making the step up from being more of a “power user”, but not sure I have the experience.

    I think you will find a lot transfers. I recommend you attend as many BBCon sessions as you can too, there are a few sessions focussed on database managers.
