For the second time in two days, I attempted to use the JE Batch Creator add-in tool and was unable to due to “technical limitations”. I have used this tool before with great success but apparently if there are inactive accounts in your JE it will not work. While you WILL receive an error message after submitting, it WON'T direct you to which line items in the JE are causing the issue. (BB Knowledgebase article 192188). This limitation makes this very convenient tool useless for the larger JE's it would be helpful for. Any fix on the horizon for this?

    Hello Susan! This is a wonderful idea and we are reviewing this and planning to implementing this in the future.

    It would be great if we could edit the journal entries with the Excel add-on. We are able to do this with budgets and it is a huge time saver.

    Is there a way to put a journal reference other than ‘Excel’ in the JE Batch Creator before submitting it? This would make all the difference.
