Salesforce/RE integration

Hi Michelle! I've built some simple RE/SF integration proof-of-concepts in my tenure at Blackbaud using the Microsoft Power Platform. There are some cool ways to embed tiles in either RE NXT that display SF data (via the SKY Add-ins) or display RE data in SF using VisualForce Page Component. You can also use webhooks to trigger record creation events in either system (i.e. create a new Contact record in SF when an RE NXT constituent is created).

If you want something already built and productized, Omatic is the way to go IMO.

Hi Michelle, Omatic Cloud integrates RE and Salesforce. It seamlessly transfers data with record matching which prevents duplicates while running through proper casing for correct spelling and casing of your constituents' names. You would have complete control over how the data moves between systems, and once it's exactly right you can automate the transfer. To follow up on what Trevor said, see below for an example of a Microsoft Power App that is embedded in Raiser's Edge NXT and directly integrates with Salesforce for Case data. This is a prototype created for one of Accelerator classes (see the below link if you have interest in learning more).
