Teacher Selected Computation Method

Does anyone know if I allow teachers to select a computation method of their own, can they change that computation method during the course (for content area skills). IE, ideally it would be great for teachers to be able to toggle between the computation methods in order to see how they shake out at the end and use professional judgement to decide which overall rating best reflects student performance.

    You should be able to add multiple grade calculation formulas for your grade plans. When they click “calculate” during the marking period, they will be able to select what formula is used and how they would like to incorporate various report card and gradebook grades.

    Thanks. Is the grade calculation separate for assignment compared to skills in the CBE? I'm speaking to computation method for the skills.

    Oops, egg on my face! I'm not certain if teachers can adjust their calculation method for those skills.

    Really interesting question, I would hope so! Since they can adjust their gradebook calculations for traditional grading, I would think that a similar rule would apply. We haven't turned on the ability for teachers to set their own calc. in CBE but I think we're about to, since not everyone likes the decaying average setup that we built in the settings. I'd love to know the answer to this.
