HELP! So many dupes

I know the system checks for dupes, but we're getting so many dupes from JustGiving donations. Is there anything I can do to troubleshoot this? We have a colleague running a large fundraiser now which is even worse, because we have colleagues with dupe records.

    Same here - well, we didn't turn it on. I had a ginormous word doc of questions about the integration that I sent to Blackbaud Support to see whether it was something we wanted to turn on now and that was one of things I asked about. At the moment I don't think the integration is at a stage where it would be better than our existing processes.

    Hi Megan, I've heard this frustration often. What others post here is correct, the RENXT matching services (which RE next gen forms, RE events module both use) matches based on First Name, Last Name, Email Address. With email address being the unique identifier. There is a data process, although not elegant if done consistently will help to keep your data duplicate free. These will help.

  • Thank you @Jackie Zimmerman. Managing the dupes by adding more frequent data clean-up isn't ideal so I hope a better solution will come relatively soon.
