Ratings in Committee Review

Our Director of Admissions & Enrollment wants to use Ratings in Committee Review. We are struggling getting the the ratings consolidated and/or in reports, however. I can see the totals for each matrix in the Committee Review list, but it is embedded and mixed in the with the Recommendation Ratings from outside schools. We want to be able to pull only Committee Review ratings. I thought I might be able to pull this in an advanced list, then filter for the committee review rating, but after a conversation with support today, it cannot be done. How can I pull out just the committee review ratings? In addition, the ratings total number does not show on the Checklist screen or in the summary screen. I can see the matrix very faintly, but I cannot see the total points from the rating. The only place it seems to show is in the Committee Review list. Is anyone out there using ratings in Committee Review?

    Hi Nancy,

    I want to make sure I cover everything so please let me know if I leave anything out. I totally see what you mean about the ratings summary on the checklist not showing the total points and being a bit visually difficult. We can make improvements here for sure.

    For the reporting, is it that you need a way to filter on the ratings because you're using the same matrix for the recommendations and for committee review members? I'm thinking based on what you're describing that we may need 2 different filters, one that allows you to choose between those 2 options and one that allows you to filter on different matrices ( academics vs. social skills for example ). We would most likely add these to the committee review list and the candidate list as displaying these in advanced lists doesn't work very well.

    Hi Sarah! Thanks for your questions. We definitely need to separate out ratings based on whether they are Committee or Recommendations. That would be very helpful. The ability to separate out the matrices would also be very helpful. Basically, we have these numbers associated with each rank built into the matrix, but we can't tally or average them! It's just visual at this point. Ideally, when we export them to excel from the Committee list, we would like to be able to then average or tally each item for a student. Right now, when we export the ranking field, the words and numbers mixed are both in one field. Let me know if you want me to upload some screenshots or want to connect further.

    @Nancy Kierstead we're still working on some of the items that we've discussed here, but I wanted you to know that on 12/21 we'll be release an update to how the matrix looks that will hopefully make it a little bit easier to decipher. we've enlarged the radio buttons and included the score. (see below)
