I'm new to Blackbaud (as of this August) and need to know how to upload transcript information to GA Futures for the HOPE scholarship. I used PowerSchool for many years and there was a GA 411 Transcript report built in; all I had to do was run it and upload to GA Futures. From what I understand there's no such report within Blackbaud; can anybody help? Thanks so much!

    Hi! Your first step will be to build a transcript in the old transcript builder that captures everything you need for the HOPE upload - feel free to email me if you'd like screenshots of our setup. You'll also need to make sure that the “Standard Code” field in the course records includes the DOE course code. After you've done that, here are the steps for running the transcripts for HOPE:

    1. In Core > Settings > School Information, make sure that the school CEEB code (6 numerals only – no letters or other symbols) is in the “School Code” field.
    2. Run “Transcript – Electronic Transfer” report (under Analyze > Reports > Report Admin)
      1. You'll need to run it 5 times for each grade (A-E, F-J, etc…)
    3. Save as .txt (tab delimited .txt)
    4. Open in Word Pad/Text Edit
    5. Replace “ as nothing
    6. If combining files, leave out the header line for transcript info that you're copying over to the first batch (only need header at the very top of the file) and don’t leave any blank lines
    7. Make sure that SSN appears for each student (not asterisks)
      1. You'll need to make sure that you have the SSN role - that is set up in Core.
